1. The short version

Cosmic Whispers is a quiet, public-facing art project. By sending a message, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What you submit

You may write a message, optionally include a YouTube video, and provide an email address so we can send a confirmation link and optional reminders. You must be at least 13 years old to use this site.

Do not submit unlawful, threatening, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or spam content. We use automated filters and reserve the right to reject or remove any message without notice.

3. License you grant us

When you send a message, you grant Cosmic Whispers a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and create derivative works from your message — in any medium, now known or later developed.

This includes using submitted messages for research, data mining, machine-learning training, sentiment analysis, artistic aggregation, and publication. We may also sell or license anonymized or aggregated datasets derived from messages. You will not be paid for such uses.

4. Public vs. private

Messages marked public may appear on the sky map, in the public feed, in analytics, and in shared materials. Messages marked private are only accessible through the secret link emailed to you. Do not lose that link — we cannot recover it.

5. Email and reminders

We send a confirmation link when you submit a message. If you opt in, we may also send gentle reminders at 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, and 3 years. Reminders are off by default. You can stop them at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email.

6. No guarantees

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that messages will be delivered, preserved forever, or that the site will always be available. Do not use this service for emergencies, legal matters, or anything that requires confidentiality.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cosmic Whispers and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
